Current Openings

Oakhill Counselling and Mediation Services is recruiting a part time Registered Psychologist to work out of our offices in the Fraser Valley.  This contract position will be responsible to provide counselling services to people of all ages, psycho educational assessments if appropriate and other services depending on the psychologists experience, education and training.

Oakhill Counselling & Mediation Services is an established mental health agency beginning in 1988 and has grown to over 30 master’s level counsellors, two family mediators and three registered psychologists.

Oakhill Counselling & Mediation Services is community based counselling agency that has operated in the Fraser Valley since 1988. We are a diverse, multidisciplinary group that provide a range of services including therapy, psychological assessment, and mediation.

This role will provide clinical counselling services in-person in our Langley, Chilliwack, and Abbotsford offices. You’d be responsible to meet with clients, assessing and prioritising their therapeutic needs and goals, and working with them to achieve those goals from an evidence-based modality (such as CBT). This role requires a minimum of a master’s degree in psychology, counselling, or similar masters degree with at least two years post graduate experience, and membership in a governing body such as BCACC. Working with children and youth, couples, and special populations is a definite bonus (such as ADHD or Autism).

Mediators are responsible to make contact with and provide mediation services to interested parties. The mediation provided is focused primarily on families however some commercial mediation is possible.

Candidates must have mediation experience in British Columbia and be familiar with the BC Family Law Act. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large mental health and mediation practice that is dedicated to helping improve the well being and quality of life of families.
