I am a clinical counselor in British Columbia with extensive experience supporting individuals of all ages through evidence-based therapeutic practices. Previously, I worked as a psychologist, where I developed a strong foundation in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, behavior modification, and neuropsychological interventions.
Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
As a Registered Clinical Counselor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselors (BCACC), my expertise includes working with individuals recovering from concussions caused by accidents, workplace incidents, or other events. I assist them in regaining normalcy in their lives and work. Additionally, I specialize in managing depression, anxiety, trauma, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and substance use disorders.
Throughout my career, I have worked in clinical, educational, and community settings, taking on diverse roles such as counseling, behavior modification, neuropsychological assessment, motivational interviewing, and return-to-work treatment planning. I have also contributed to program development and research, prioritizing client recovery and overall well-being.
My educational background includes a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. I have further enhanced my skills with certifications in Brain-Based Trauma-Informed Care, EMDR Training, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Concussion Awareness.
I am committed to helping individuals achieve mental well-being by integrating critical thinking, evidence-based practices, and compassionate care. My goal is to empower clients with tools for healing and growth while fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
